Program

The program this year will include pre-PDI sessions, six general sessions, service day breakout sessions, and a mix of DoDFM certification mini-courses that will provide will provide direct credit towards DoD FM certification, as well as other workshops and educational opportunities on Thursday and Friday.

Pre-PDI Sessions​

  • CDFM and Fiscal Law sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, May 26 – 27 for an additional registration fee. Click here for details.
  • Microsoft workshops will be held on Tuesday, May 27. (Optional & no additional cost)
  • Career Planning workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 27(Optional & no additional cost)

Service Day Program Information
​May 28 is Service Day at PDI 2014, a day set aside for each service to break in to sessions that are specific to that service or agency.

Become a Volunteer at PDI 2014!
​Ever wonder what it would be like to work behind the scenes at a National PDI? Here is your chance! We will be taking applications for volunteers to serve as Assistant Instructors (AIs) at PDI 2014. Please note that all AIs must have attended at least one PDI in the past four years. The application must also have approval to attend at the volunteer registration rate of $250 plus lodging and per diem. AI responsibilities include:
  • Liaison with speaker for workshop and other PDI needs prior to the PDI
  • Attend AI training conference call (date TBD) and volunteer training at PDI (Tuesday afternoon)
  • Attend morning meeting each day of assignment
  • Assist in speaker ready room as needed
  • Introduction of speaker(s) at PDI
  • Ensure workshop flows smoothly (problem solving, timeliness, chart flipping)
  • Hall monitor duties, as needed
  • Follow up with any issues after the PDI
